What a Blast we had at our Prerelease!

When was it? Saturday Oct 25th - the first event opening at 9am and the other at 2pm.

Between the 2 events we had a total of 70 players,
(24 Masters, 24 Seniors and 12 Juniors)
and tons of cool character costumes some of you came in!

Also, you'll notice a picture of the Poster from the event... pictures prior to that poster are from the Morning event, and the ones after that poster are from the Afternoon event. BOTH events were a blast, so be sure to check out the pictures and videos! You'll get a kick out of them I'm sure!

Everyone had some good Halloween fun!

Since it was so close to Halloween, everyone who showed me some Halloween spirit...whether they came in a fun Costume, or brought me a pumpkin, a Halloween poem, a bag of Halloween candy (yum!), or gave me something 'Halloweeny' (some were VERY creative!) I rewarded them with a 'Treat' of a 'Boooo'ster Pack! And EVERYONE got a raffle ticket for a chance to win 3 more 'Boooo'ster packs too, as well as a Free Pre Pass to pay your admission in to our next Prerelease!

Plus, Keith and Christina had nifty little goodie bags for everyone who came, including a cute little trainer card he made for fun, called Pikachu's Ketchup. I also had "Trick or Treat" Door Prizes this time for everyone! You had no idea just what you'd get! Some got a 'booo'ster pack, some got a badge, or a holo energy, or a POP pack, or...handful of Spider rings...always a surprise as to what was inside! haha

So... here's some more info about the events for the day....

- Morning Main Event -

9am Registration opened, 9:30am the baggies were handed out.

We had a total of 28 Players. For various reasons, several of our regulars couldn't make it, so it was a little quieter at this morning event than usual.

We had 15 Masters, 12 Seniors, and 1 Junior, so it was not age separated.

- Afternoon Main Event -

(2pm Registration opened, 2:30 the baggies were handed out)

We had the gameroom filled with 32 players for this one, and there were a LOT of great costumes here too!

We had 9 Masters, 12 Seniors, and 11 Juniors! That's a lot of youngsters for this one! And man were they excited! The volume in the room went up about 10 notches from the morning event. A connection? Perhaps!

- Theme Deck Challenge -

(2pm Registration opened, 2:30 the decks were handed out)
We had a total of 10 players, as a few joined in as soon as they could get there.

Those who had preregistered got first choice of the decks they wanted to play, as everyone got to choose their decks in the order that they were on my registration sheet. (always a good reason to preregister early!)

The sleeves were actually much cooler than the picture looks, they were a great metallic red, really nice!
