Mysterious Treasures Prerelease - Rockford

took place on Sunday Aug 12, 2007
at the North Suburban Womens Club

What an awesome time we all had there!!

Quite a houseful of players!

We had a great time and a lot of people came showing their "Hawaiian Style" to help show some love to our friends competing at Pokemon World Championships in Kona HI that day. We had decorations and leis and Hawaiian shirts all over the place! Those who showed some 'Hawaiian Style' got entered in a special raffle.

We also had a LOT of brand new players, and several new parents who also joined in on the fun, and several other parents who helped out here and there while their kids had a great time.

Silly parents
PokeDad Brian from Oswego IL sings praises of my cookies (either that, or he's about to swipe Nick's hat)

Parents play too!

There were players who came from as far as Green Bay WI, Madison WI, Janesville WI, Washington IA, and all over from IL, including Peru, Wauconda, Carol Stream, Chicago, Park Ridge, River Forest, Aledo, Dundee, just to name a few! So many dedicated players, traveling hours just to come and join in the fun at our event Gotta love the spirit of Pokemon Players!

Pokemon Professor Nick and his mom, Colleen, (sporting their Hawaiian Style) drove all the way from the Green Bay WI area, over 3 1/2 hours to get there!
