Tomorrow Is Yesterday's Diamond & Pearl Prerelease
Was held on Saturday May 19th!

We all had a great time! A bit crazy at times, but it was fun! We had a total of 52 players for both events, and had to be a bit spread around the room, but all in all, it was a great time!

We had the gameroom set up a bit differently than we usually do, with some extra tables to help accomodate the extra players, plus we also had some extra tables set up inside the main part of the store too, for some of the overflow. Devin Peltier-Robson, Keny Bailey, and Adam Vernola helped to judge the event and keep things going smoothly. The Theme Deck Challenge players had their very own room in the downstairs gameroom and Ryan Alperstein helped oversee their fun. Here's the breakdown of info for the day's events.

The main Prerelease had a total of 41 players - 23 masters, 12 Seniors and 5 Juniors

For the Theme Deck Challenge we had a total of 11 players

For the Modified Side Event we had 15 players

As I said, I think everyone had a good time, but I have to give a little 'shout out' to the 8 players who came from Aledo IL. Many an email Brad M and I had getting everything in place for the new players he and his gang were bringing. They were all such a fun bunch and some of the new ones they brought were literally having a blast! I have a hunch their college just won't be the same when they get back! Diamond & Pearl posters on the walls and the enthousiasm that can only come from your first Prerelease event experience. I'm glad they made the trip and had so much fun once they got here!
