(This Premiere Event is Free to enter, and you do not have to be a city resident of Rockford to play!
It is open to the public, from cities near and far!)

For this, my debut Premiere Event as PTO,
Tomorrow Is Yesterday and I have some great things planned for you all!
To kick things off, I'm giving a booster pack of Delta Species Pokemon cards to every entrant! Plus...
Lunch is on us!

Subway Party Platters will be on hand...
We'll provide each participant with
A 4" Subway Sub, bag of chips, and my home-baked cookies!
(Bottles of soda for $1 and candy bars for .50 will be available as usual at our tourneys.)

So after you register at 11:30, have lunch on us while you check over your decks a final time, fill out your decklists, and get ready for a great competition at 12:30! (don't be late!) We'll have nametags you can fill out if you like, with your name, Forum Screen name, or the area team you're representing, so everyone can get to know who's who and where they're from.

Prizes for each of the 3 age groups (10-, 11-14, 15+) for the City Championship Tourney are:
1st - 18 packs of Delta Species, A City Championship Medal, A Special Groudon tote Bag of Pokemon merchandise
2nd - 10 Packs Delta Species
3rd & 4th - 4 packs Delta Species

Plus everyone will recieve a special City Championships Pin and Promo Card (while supplies last)

In addition to the Standard Prizes for the City Championships, we will also be giving away many Door Prizes, including cool Deck Sleeves, Dice sets, several "Secret Surprises", and even a "Free Pre Pass" worth $20 to pay your way into our next PreRelease event at Tomorrow Is Yesterday!

We'll also have a Gameboy Corner, with link cables and rechargers, in case in between rounds or before the tourney starts, you want to trade Pokemon or battle with other players. So bring your Gameboys and your Pokemon games along if you like!

And we'll have our Game Cube set up with Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD to watch or try out between matches too!

After the main event, the fun will continue...

A Sanctioned Modified side event for only $5, in case you're in the mood for even more Pokemon matches!
Prizes will be:
1st - 10 Packs DS
2nd - 8 packs DS
3rd - 5 packs DS
4th - 3 packs DS

There will also be a free Super Smash Bros Melee tourney, just for the fun of it, for all you Smash fans out there! Play as Pikachu, Link, Mario, or any of the other Nintendo characters! Up to 64 can enter... who'll earn the title of the Best Smasher around?!

So come on over to Rockford for a Fun City Championships! We're one of the last ones scheduled in the area, so if you didn't quite make the cut at your Cities, c'mon over and take a try at ours! Everyone's welcome!

Decklists will be required, so if you'd like to print out a Decklist Form ahead of time you can find one here. And of course, the City Championships is in the Modified Format. Please make sure you're ready with a legal deck and review the legal sets for the Modified Format here

(If you do not have a Pokemon POP ID number, be sure to get to the event early to get one set up.)
