This will be a special tournament that's designed to give players another opportunity to work on their premier ratings..

We only room for most likely a maximum of 60 players (perhaps more). Since I know we have a LOT of players that come from all around the area for our events, we've come to the conclusion that the only way to do it to be the most fair will be to have our Battle Road on a first come, first serve basis.
If you're traveling a great distance to come to ours I suggest getting there early ...

As the store opens, we'll give out numbers to the people in line.
After you get your number, you can enter the game room and fill out your decklist, playtest with others, trade cards, color in Pokemon Drawings, whatever you like until we get started at 10:50, which will be the last call for turning in decklists and getting entered in the tourney. (If you turn in your decklist after 10:50, you'll still be able to enter, but you'll be entered in Round 2 with a loss for round 1).
Here's the Battle Road Decklist (pdf), if you'd like to print it and fill it out ahead of time. Here's also a link to a nice Decklist Creator at Pokegym that makes it real easy for you. Otherwise, we'll have copies there for you to fill out. I'd suggest if you're going to fill it out there, that you have your deck all lined up so it's ready to write out to save time. I'll also have copies at TIY the week before the tourney too, if you want to take it home and fill it out ahead. Remember, decklists must be turned in by 10:50 to be entered in Round 1.
Most likely will be Age Separated Swiss (everyone will play within their own age group in all the rounds, the number of rounds being determined by number of players in each age group)
We will have a Maximum of Top 4, regardless of how many are in each group.
The top 4 finishers in each of the three age divisions will receive the following prizes:

A Victory Medal—Gold promo card
2 nd Place
4 Rising Rivals Booster Packs
3rd & 4th Place
2 Boster Packs

(Jr and Srs will most likely have Top 2 after Round 3 or 4)
