We only room for most likely a maximum of 42 players (perhaps more). In discussing this unfortunate situation, since I know we have a LOT of players that come from all around the area for our events, we've come to the conclusion that the only way to do it to be the most fair will be to have our Battle Road on a first come, first serve basis. I hate to limit the number of players, but that's just how it has to be for now.
I'll also link all the area Battle Road information below, to help you find another that's close to your location, if you feel it's too risky to get in, to make a long distance trip to our event.
Again, so sorry to all of you who might not be able to join us this time, but we'll look forward to seeing you at our Prerelease for sure, since we have more room for that event, given they let us have a morning one and an afternoon one. Unfortunately, since there is a Top Cut, we are not able to do that for the Battle Road events.
So again, so it's clear,
I don't really recommend traveling a great distance to come to ours unless you're ok with getting there early ...
our Rockford Battle Road will have to be
"First come, first serve"
for the first 42 players in line.
The store opens at 9am, so if you really want to try to get in, be there early.

As the store opens, we'll give out numbers to the people in line.
(to the first 6 per age group to start with, to make sure the tourney will be age separated)
After you get your number, you can enter the game room and fill out your decklist, playtest with others, trade cards, color in Pokemon Drawings, whatever you like until we get started at 9:30, which will be the last call for turning in decklists and getting entered in the tourney. (If you turn in your decklist after 9:30, you'll still be able to enter, but you'll be entered in Round 2 with a loss for round 1).
Here's a link to the Battle Road Autumn Decklist, if you'd like to print it and fill it out ahead of time. Otherwise, we'll have copies there for you to fill out. I'd suggest if you're going to fill it out there, that you have your deck all lined up so it's ready to list out to save time.
For those of our players who will be in the tournament, here is some information for you.
Most likely will be Age Separated Swiss (everyone will play within their own age group in all the rounds, the number of rounds being determined by number of players in each age group)
Age groups:
• Junior Division: Born in 1998 or later
• Senior Division: Born in 1994, 1995, 1996, or 1997
• Masters Division: Born in 1993 or earlier
Also after the Swiss Rounds, in each of the 3 age groups we will have a Top Cut,
with either a cut to Top 2 or Top 4, depending on the number of players in that age group.
The top 2 finishers in each of the three age divisions will receive the following prizes:
1 st Place
8 Legends Awakened Booster Packs
A Victory Medal—Gold promo card
2 nd Place
4 Legends Awakened Booster Packs
3rd & 4th Place
Guaranteed Door Prize
And not to worry if you don't make the Top Cut, we have lots of fun Door Prizes to give away (courtesy of Keith & Christina Emmert and myself), and, as always, I'll bake cookies for you too :)

But, I must let you know that we will need the room cleared out NO LATER THAN 5:30, as there is another event booked in the room, and Staff will need to clear up our stuff and prep for their entry.
